Upon our first call with Ash we knew she is exactly who we wanted as a celebrant - genuine, easy going and down to earth. Her kind nature made us feel immediately comfortable in her presence and our guests felt this too on the day.
As a celebrant she is the perfect mirror - she sought to truly understand us as a couple, and wrote a beautiful ceremony that was reflective of us and our personalities. The ceremony Ash crafted for us was as heartwarming as it was lighthearted, with the perfect amount of laughs and tears. She carefully curated our love story and set a magical mood for our wedding day. I will admit at first we were one of those couples who focused more on the reception but I can honestly say our ceremony was the highlight of our wedding.
Ash is meticulously organised and on top of the paperworks, filings, etc. AKA the actual legal marriage part - she made sure we didn’t have to worry about a thing and we had our official marriage certificate back before we could blink the stars out of our eyes.

Asking Ashley to be our celebrant was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day. From the first FaceTime phone call, Ashley’s genuine and bubbly personality was palpable through the screen - like speaking to an old friend, and we knew we had met our match. We were after someone to look after the Legals while we had a friend run our Christian ceremony and Ashley’s Legals Only Co-pilot package was the perfect fit for us. Ashley was so generous with her time, knowledge and experience; offering all of her tips and suggestions while emphasising that it was our day, there was not right or wrong and that other than the legal stuff, it was completely up to us to do what felt most like us. Leading up to the day, Ashley checked in with our friend to discuss ceremony flow, when she would step in and out and offered our friend so much support. When Ashley arrived on-site right before the ceremony, she did so in all her vibrant and loving wonder and we felt so at ease knowing that she was going to get us married that day, and that she did and so much more! When the skies opened up and blessed us with its rain as we stood at the altar, Ashley quietly ran around like a fairy godmother, handing everyone umbrellas and sheltering our friend from the rain with a huge smile on her face, as if it was all part of schedule. She seamlessly stepped in and out during the ceremony to do what she had to do to get us married. Ashley was such a delight to work with both leading up to, on the day and post-wedding. We couldn’t recommend Ashley more- thank you so much Ashley! Keep doing what you’re doing because you’re so good at what you do!

Dress Code
I love making sure I fit right into the style of your day. I’ll coordinate my outfit with your color theme, choosing from a collection of beautiful pieces from brands like Aje, Leo Lin, Sheike, and other designer favorites. It’s all about complementing your wedding’s vibe while keeping things polished and elegant.
Cultural, Modern or Traditional Rituals
I love adding cultural traditions and unique rituals into the ceremony to make it truly special. Whether it’s a wine box ceremony, ring warming, or a meaningful cultural custom, I’m here to help bring your ideas to life and celebrate what matters most to you.
On the Day Presence
I’m all about calm, not chaos! I’ll be there at least an hour before your guests arrive to make sure everything’s just right. Your ceremony will typically run around 15–30 minutes, and afterward, I’ll hang out for an extra 30–60 minutes (depending on your package) to help out and keep things running smoothly.
Travels for Love
I do love a good adventure and am happy to go wherever your love story takes me! For locations outside the Hunter and Newcastle area, a travel fee will apply to cover the journey to your special day.
